Hi all
Has anyone gotten KPilot to work on Dapper so far ?
I have a Sony Clie PEG - TJ37. I have used it with no issues in Mandrake/iva for the last two years. But I could never get it to Sync with Kubuntu Dapper (never used another Kubuntu version).
I found several posts on the web about Palm sync-ing being broken from Breezy on. Looks like a regression.
It is really weird: I can start the sync process, (kpilot running, hit the Hotsync icon on the Palm), and I see this in KPilot:
On the progress bar at the bottom, "Sync progress" is stuck at 30%". The PDA says that "The connection to the computer could not be established".
The device is set to /dev/ttyUSB1 , but I get the same with /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/pilot - Other devices don't work at all.
Any pointers, ideas ? Any success stories ?
Many thanks!
