latest flash (9) dies on youtube etc

I made a mistake and installed flash 9 (a deb package). I can now see some sites that make me have flash 9, but I can't manage to watch much youtube and sometimes I really do want to do that.

Is there a way to get flash 7 back. I'll live without movie trailers etc. I'm sick and tired of even having to bork around with flash, but that is beyond my control.
