    You need Firefox and from the repositories (media player + plugin):

    mplayer + mozilla-mplayer
    or
    VLC+ mozilla-plugin-vlc
    or
    kaffeine + kaffeine-mozilla

    =>

    If you have installed plug-in and aboutlugins /1/ don't show it. Try to copy plugins from
    /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ to the ~/.mozilla/plugins/ =>

        Your English is good.

        That x-mplayer2 is a tough one:

        http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...4730#msg134730

        The gecko plugin appears to provide support for mplayer and Windows media player streams -- that is what it says when I open Tools>Add-ons>Plugins. But on mine, it does not play this site:

        http://www.elsevier.nl/video/

        Which I have bookmarked, in case I ever figure out how to make it work. :P

        This is Firefox 3.0 Beta, 64-bit architecture. Other flash and multimedia streams appear to work with Gecko, including BBC streams.
