cant install libtool -

I'm trying to install libtool using Adept Manager and getting the following message:
Please insert the disc labelled 'Kubuntu 7.10 _Gutsy Gibbon_ - Release i386 (20071016.1)' in the drive '/cdrom/' and press enter
Adept Manager says its waiting for headers
nothing seems to stop it even when I can browse the install cd through /cdrom

Thanks - thst seems to fix the problem.
But why does it do that for this particular package - I've installed ~1000 others without this problem!
