Adept Manager vs. Dapper Drake

Does the Adept Manager only work with the latest version of Kubuntu Huh

I have Dapper Drake [ver. 6.06] installed on my Thinkpad and I cannot get the Adept Manager to show any new packages or updates.

Only shows 937 installed & available.

NOTE: I know I was "online" because I was browsing the 'net with Konquerer.

P.S. I just figured out I have been posting in the "wrong section" of this very confusing Forum !!!

Your problem is probably disabled repos in your /etc/apt/sources.list.

Thanks for link, BUT I must have a very early version of 6.06 because i don't match up at all !!

I cannot find the first step.

System > Administration > Software Properties

What I have is.

System Settings > System Administration > "several minor icons"

Here I am "totally lost".

You're right, I started posting in the Fiesty Fawn forum until I figure out there are duplicate listings for each distro.

GOTO>>kmenu>>systyem>>adept manager>>password.

When adept opens click on "adept">>manage repositories.

Check everything under the Kubuntu tab and third party and updates. Click close and then fetch updates. This should show you more packages.

You should consider moving up to feisty or to gutsy when it's released.

Thanks eriefisher, I have Fiesty coming in the mail. I'm hoping my PS/2 mouse might work with Fiesty.
