Hi:

I am using realtek rtl8168/8111 PCI-E gigabit ethernet. So far, I can not find any linux driver for it. While there is no internet, it is very hard to enable other devices.............

Hi I don't know this card but there seems to be some useful info here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=857923 looks like you have to make sure the module r1000 is loaded to get networking up.

In dapper, there is built-in driver called r8169.ko. There is no r8168.ko. I wonder is there any way to manually download those binary driver or even non-compiled one.....
