Fairly new kubuntu (and linux in general) user here. I'm looking for a program to allow me to edit pdf's. I searched through this forum, and searched through adept, and all I found were pdf viewers and printers.
What I specifically want to do right now is break down a 600+ page student solutions manual (that I have in PDF format) into either smaller pdfs, or at least be able to put bookmarks in this pdf for each chapter so I don't have to scroll through hundreds of pages. Obviously extra capabilities would be great, but this is the main one I'm looking for right now.
I noticed that open office word can export directly to pdf. If a pdf editing program doesn't exist, a program that would let me export pdf's back into word documents would work, as I could then break it down and export it back into smaller pdf's.
Thanks for your time!
