need a little help with baghira

Hi I've installed Baghira, and I'm trying to get through this howto : http://baghira.sourceforge.net/OS_Clone-en.php

Problem is, I'm getting to the point where you're supposed to

Once your modifications finished, go in the panel config dialog (see above), Appearance section and click on Advanced options : check the Hide Applet handles options.

Now I can't get this to work, and I'm wondering what I might be doing wrong.
