    video editing software for linux

    Hi all:

I am hoping that some folks can point me to a simple video editing tool for linux that can handle digital video. I really don't know what is out there, what works, what doesn't and would really like some input from other kubuntu users.

    THANKS!

    There are quite a few:
kino, which is most likely what you are looking for; then there's avidemux (resembling VirtualDub from Windows), pitivi and lives, and probably others. They're all (except lives, afaik) in the repos.

edit: sorry, jumped directly from a feed and didn't notice the section (i'm on feisty); there should be versions for dapper as well
