Working with a Terminal Server from work ?

Hey all,

I got a question about the possibility of using Terminal Server.

I got a pictogram from my work with which i can normally (on a XP machine) log onto my work desktop.

If I try opening the same pictogram in Kubuntu, it really opens the file (like tekst lines) instead of the link to my work desktop.

Probably a dumb question, but for me open source is a whole new world since 4 hours.

The helpdesk at work said that I had to download TSclient, but I can't find it in K-Menu --> Adept/Remove programs

They told me it was standard in Ubuntu, but what about Kubuntu 6.06?

you can try to open a konsole and then :
sudo apt-get install tsclient

It should appear after in K menu under internet section

rdesktop should do what you need as well
