You are running Kubuntu 6.06 Dapper. Browse to /etc/apt (in Konqueror) and open the file named sources.list. Copy and paste the text in that file here on Kubuntu Forums.

i am throughing in the towel, and putting ubuntu 6.10 on it seemed to be a little better, and it came with firefox with it, i will just have to do without the grafics candy. thanks for all the help
