Do I need a resident shield for linux? I installed avg but noticed it does not have one. I have it set up to scan daily and update daily so I'm thinking I might be ok.
Thanks!
Chris
I don't know why you even feel the need for a virus scanner. Linux viruses are few and rare; most virus scanners running on Linux scan for windows viruses. Are you running some sort of server? If not, viruses shouldn't be a concern. The servers you are running, and anything you download, are.
