During a re-install of Kubuntu LTS the installer complained of a bug in that it is not able to correctly deal with sda drives with partitions greater than 512 MB. Has this been fixed? I am using an iso DVD to do the re-install and trying to keep my existing files. If I have to reformat the drive that Kubuntu is on, I can do so if I can recover the kmail folders and messages + other files I saved to the usb flash disk in case I had problems re-installing but keeping the old files. I don't mind re-downloading all my upgrades but I would like to avoid wasting time. TIA, any help appreciated.
