    Kaffeine upgrade

    Hi,

I'm running Kubuntu 6.06, and perfectly happy not to upgrade any higher. But, I would like to upgrade to a higher version of Kaffeine than 0.7. Any ideas how I can do this? The repositories only have 0.7. I tried using a Kaffeine src but ran into dependency problems.

    Re: Kaffeine upgrade

I'm using kaffeine 0.8.1 from the repositories (dapper - 6.06.1 LTS, kde 3.5.4).
    apt-cache show kaffeine tells:
    Version: 0.8.1-3ubuntu3~dapper1
    Filename: pool-dapper/extra/kaffeine/kaffeine_0.8.1-3ubuntu3~dapper1_i386.deb

    and

    Version: 0.7.1-1.3ubuntu10
    Filename: pool/main/k/kaffeine/kaffeine_0.7.1-1.3ubuntu10_i386.deb
Hmm - pool-dapper/extra/kaffeine/... is in the kde 3.5.4 repositories
I have in the sources.list line:
    Code:
    deb [url]http://kubuntu.org/packages/kde-354/[/url] dapper main
