I am working through a guide to get Diablo 2 LOD working with wine. The guide can be found here:
In step 2 it instructs how to run through the visual test. The error that I am experiencing is that after completing the visual test I am unable to get back to my previous screen settings. The resolution in the systems settings is still set to the same thing, but what is actually being displayed is stretched vertically.
Additionally, the screen now appears to be flashing. I don't know how to explain the effect that I'm experiencing.
I have attempted to restart the system (that is what I previously had to do in order to get a new screen resolution to take effect), but I have had no success in either area. I would appreciate any advice.
