    Kernel-sources??

    Hello everyone!
    I need the kernel-sources,I don't know where to find them..I downloaded the alternate kubuntu cd..Can anyone help me with them?I'd appreciate any help!

    Hi,

    You should install linux-source package. You should find it in adept.

      The alternate CD gives you a more powerful but text based installer - the packages are the same. See the above. Adept can be found under System on the K Menu.
      I am running Ubuntu 8.10 (yes Gnome) with upgrades applied daily about 0900 UK time. Hardware is Dell Precision 420, 2x 800 MHz PIII, 512 MB RDRAM, nVidia GeForce 6800 128 MB AGP graphics, 18GB SCSI and 500GB IDE HDDs, DVD burner, Hauppage TV card.

        I installed 3 linux-headers,now it's not looking for kernel sources anymore but when I do the make command so as to install my modem I get errors like:
        In function 'eu_disconnect_postfirm':
        error:'URB_ASYNC_UNLINK' undeclared(first use in this function)
