Hi im going to remove hoary hedgehog to enable a clean install of dapper drake due to password glitz so i need to know how to find email folder and then save it to a jump drive. Any assistance will be appreciated as im new to linux

Normally, it's in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/ and the settings for KMail are in ~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc and kmail.eventsrc -

For completeness:
If you back-up your mail folders, make sure you get them all (there may be a hidden folder folder .inbox.directory under ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail if you have added mail subfolders in kmail)Comment
