Hello All:
I received a notification that I am to upgrade two packages (linux-image-386 linux-restricted-modules-386). However, using sudo apt-get upgrade it claims the two packages are not to be upgraded. Nonetheless, I still have the notification icon in the system tray.
From what I can gather, the upgrades are for kernel 2..6.15.26, but I am already running 2.6.15.27. If I use the Adept upgrade manager, it says I will break packages if I install it. Not to mention, why bother downgrading to 2.6.15.26, when I already am using 2.6.15.27?
How do I tell the notification to ignore the kernel "downgrade" and stop posting it as an upgradable package?
Cheers,
t.
