Getting Firefox Installed

Hiya guys, i want to install firefox on my system, but when i go to Add/Remove programs, the option to install firefox (and alot of other software) is grey'd out and i cannot do anything with it!

Am i doing something wrong? When it pops up and says about running as SUDO i enter the password.

be side the search choose any suite this worked for me

Im sure i tried that! Im at work at the moment, but when i get home ill try again just to make sure!

Can you paste this command into the terminal and then copy and paste the output back to this thread (any errors)?

sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude install firefox
