    Installing SSHD

Im really new to kubuntu, getting it installed right now, one thing id like to know, is does SSHD get installed by default from the live cd installation, if not, how do i go about installing it myself?

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Installing SSHD

    sudo apt-get install openssh-server

There are other ssh servers available to choose from if you have the universe repositories, but I'd go with the supported one.
I am running Ubuntu 8.10 (yes Gnome) with upgrades applied daily about 0900 UK time. Hardware is Dell Precision 420, 2x 800 MHz PIII, 512 MB RDRAM, nVidia GeForce 6800 128 MB AGP graphics, 18GB SCSI and 500GB IDE HDDs, DVD burner, Hauppage TV card.
