Installing firefox 2.0

hello everybody,
i searched the forum to see if it had help installing firefox 2.0 and i did not found.. so i decided to post..
i'm trying to install firefox 2.0. i already read the release notes from the site but they weren't clear for me...
i still have firefox 1.5 ...
... i tried sudo apt-get install firefox but logically it doesn't work, but i still tried!! lol

so i started downloading the package tar.gz and decompressed it to a folder.
and now the problem starts lol... what do i do...

try reading the readme or install files. They should tell you your next few steps!

./configure
make
sudo make install
