Hello everyone !!!
actually i m planning to buy a new PC , configuration is as follows:

Pentium Dual core 2.0 GHz E2180
Intel 945 motherboard
1 GB Ram
250 Gb harddisk
DVD writer
ATX cabinet

but i was wondering whether kubuntu supports dual core E2180
i mean kubuntu runs on dual core or not ??

You didn't mention video... or is that a 945G... (I'm not up on my MB's these days).

Nvidia certainly works with kubuntu, but if you are going to install KDE4 you might find more annoying glitches with nvidia than you would with ati or intel.
