Question. Can we just include the wine package in a repo and install it in 64bit kubuntu using ia32 and lib32*? I just came from opensuse10.1 x86_64, and you could install any 32bit app you wanted to. I've managed to get the 32bit swiftfox working without fuss but i wonder why i can't do that with other 32bit packages.

ok, works just fine if you grab the 32bit edgy package. The question still remains however, why is this not already in the 64bit repo? I don't really know much about making .debs but is there a way to make one ignore/force the arch with out calling on dpkg --force-architecture
