Fire up the WiFi on startup

    Hi,

Is it possible to get my WiFi connection started automatically when I sart a session.

At present I start Wireless Assistant and manually search for the router then connect.

    Thanks,

I've been asking myself the same question and came accross this in another thread:

To get it to connect automatically at startup - with no password prompt or anything - create a new wallet with a blank password and just be sure to leave KNetworkManager running when you next restart or shut down. It should then store your WPA passphrase in this automatically-accessible wallet.

Personally, I don't use KNetworkManager and find this a nasty hack, but it probably works.

My problem is that I have two wireless computers which need to mount NFS shared directories on a third. I both connect and then mount manually and would like this process to be automated on startup.
