Sundance network driver

I have a net card that uses the sundance driver.
Every time I update the kernel I have to replace the module sundance.ko in the lib folder with a version compiled in an old kernel version (or recompile and replace)
Who could be advised to correct the module in the next shipments?

Why the devs, of course! https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu is their headquarters. Maybe file it as a bug?
