New wireless card, now can't boot

So, I was trying to get my new wireless card (a Linksys WMP54G) to work, and it was going well. I had gotten it all set up in the control center and it got to the point where it popped up a window to say it was enabling the wireless interface. Then it just stayed there like that for a really long time, telling me it was enabling it. That's when I had to go away for a few hours and turn off my computer. Anyway, I got back and now I can't fully boot. It'll hang when it gets to "Starting domain name service: named..." I don't know why it is hanging there; I don't recall changing any DNS settings.
Anyone have any ideas to get this fixed?

Ah, nevermind. I restored my backup of /etc/network/interfaces to be able to boot up again and followed a different howto to get my wireless to work.
