I have a Zonet ZFM5600 hardware PCMCIA modem that works with Ubuntu 5.10, Mandrake 10.0, and Linspire 5.0. But I recently ran the Kubuntu 6.06 live cd and the modem could not be queried or found. I installed KDE on Ubuntu 5.10 five months ago and got the same results! I think this is a problem with KPPP or KDE in general. What should I do to connect to internet with dial up?
