Connect Wireless on boot?

So I got wireless working with fwcutter as I normally do in ubuntu, but I still have to open the wireless manager every time i start up to connect to my network.

How can I make this happern automatically?

Can you tell us more about this ?
What is the content of /etc/network/interfaces and the ouput of ifconfig -a (before and after enabling the card by the GUI)
