how to add a DNS ip to my dsl connection

i'd like to know how can i add a DNS ip to my dsl connection. i'm behing a router and must add a dns ip to get connected....can someon tell me where to add it?thanks a lot!!!

ok no problem I found out by myself. i got fooled cause the italian translation of dns in the options weren't so clear but at the end i understood
