Dell WIreless 1350 mini pci wireless card

I am totally new to linux and hope that someone here can help me with this problem i seem to be having with this mini pci card.

The card is seen as a viable network interface by Kubuntu, but when i go to activate it ( make sure the settings for lan name ssid and password are all corect ) then i click on enable and it just blinks on and then right back off again . I have configured the card to the settings in my router and another computer (running Windows XP ) has no trouble with the card or its running properly.

I also tried a linksys pcmcia card with speed boost. . It too does exactly the same thing, but works in windows.

My Internal lan ( integrated onto the motherboard) card work just fine too.

Any help i can get to get this to work would be greatly appreciated.

PS i also tried a few other flavors of linux that supposedly would config wifi outa the boxl but none of those worked either, no matter what i did.

    Thanks again

I have a Dell Inspiron B120 with the 1370 mini pci wireless and I used the following info to get my wireless card to work.
