i think is needed to repeat here what i found
I tried the new flight on my laptop, a CF73 panasonic, centrino 1.4 with 512meg ram.
I tried first ubuntu, which worked PERFECTLY, no problems at all, even the sound just come out at startup..
and then kubuntu..which hang just after seeing the desktop..i can move the cursor around, but i can't click anything..
the second time i tried, i got an error message regarding sounds, in fact there was no sound at all, however i can't still click anything..there is only a iconified window in the kde taskbar: Examining file progress...
and i can't do anything, neither is reading the cd, nor i can reboot with ctrl-alt-canc
any idea?
Thanks
i did something more...
i downloaded flight 6 and used it..
well it works, i see the desktol and everything works BUT wireless..
when i try to edit the config of the wireless card i get a crash on kde..
so seems that the problem for now is the wireless card with kde..otherwise i would be able to use flight 6 happily..
