I have recently installed a usb modem (thanks to help on the Ubuntu forums for that) which works fine using wvdial from a terminal session.
being wimpish, I would rather like to use KPPP to dial up and get the other benifits that seem to come with it.
Problem is it initialises the modem and then drops out with a 'serial loopback detected' error.
any ideas why, or how to fix?
