my pentium 4 with dapper drake kubuntu on it isnt internet responsive

i put kubuntu on this computer, a pentium 3, and i can surf the internet with it.

i put kubuntu on my pentium 4 and i cant get a web page to load.

how can i get my cable internet account to work on my pentium 4? when i try to surf with conqueror, no web pages can be found, and adept doesnt bring up any update files either.

The difference between the P3 and the P4 is probably the the wifi card and its chip. Enter the following into a terminal on the P4 machine:

lspci -v

And post the results here.
