Is there a way to add my Kubuntu box to allow it to share the folders and printer with the firewall on I am using windows 2000 pro SP4. If I turn on the fire wall the Kubuntu can not access the printer or the file folder shares.

I'm not very sure about that, but you should probably do it the same way that if the client machine was a windows one.

I have tried to add access to the host Pc within the fire wall but will that did not work. not sure how to go about this as yet. I will ask zone alarms forum maybe they can tell me how to ass the host or client to the firewall.Comment
