How to enable WEP or WPA?

Greetings! I was wondering if there is a package or something that I can use to enable WEP or WPA on my wireless network? For Christmas I got a Nintendo Wii. Since it uses a wireless connection only, I recently bought a Belkin F5D7230 wireless router. I have the router connected via Ethernet to my machine running Dapper, not sure if that makes any difference. Anyhow, I do notice that my net connection is significantly slower, even when my Wii isn't connected, so I'm fairly sure that someone is leaching my wireless.

This entirely depends on your router. Usually there is a web-interface on a router to allow for configuration. What make/model router do you have? Try googling it and see if you can find a manual or instructions...
