Installing Kubuntu on new SATA Serial Drive

I just installed Kubuntu and I am using a new big 200gb Serial hard drive. The install asked me to put serial driver disk for serial board in floppy. I did this and the install went very well. Kubuntu was installed successfully but when I rebooted Kubuntu would not boot because it could not find the serial drive. I put the CD install disk in and it boots from it fine. I can only boot with CD in drive. If I do not have CD in CDROM drive it cannot find the drive. Kubuntu is installed on the serial hard drive but cannot find the drive without the help of the CD. How do I check the driver install for the serial drive in Kubuntu?

Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this...

    Thanks
    CT

have a look in the BIOS boot order and see if the drive type that you are using is listed ...
