Kubuntu on an IBM385XD

Anyone ever got Kubuntu to install on an old IBM 385XD?
If so how did you get it started? My machine can't find the Install CD when I try to boot to the cdrom drive.

I will tell you that if you do get the OS installed, it will be slllloooooowwwwwwwwwww
I did once try it on my old thinkpad 770, which has the same cpu as yours, and even with 192mb ram it is dreadful, and that was before loading firefox

My crusty lappy is able to boot off of most but not all install disks so i had little trouble installing linux on it
