I have been using Linux since may this year namely Mandriva, i wish to install Kubuntu on my tower but before i do,
what i need to know before i commit it to my HD is how do you install software under this version?
how do you go about getting updates?
can i still get the same 3D affects as i do in Mandriva?
and when i run a konsole why will it not let me run SU then put in my password? i installed it very quick on a spare pc and these were the problems i came across after only looking at it for about an hour though i can say i was impressed with the way it found my wireless card and geting it working was a breeze.
