    /sbin/init: error 5

Hi! Today, or yesterday actually, when I started my laptop, I encountered the following problem.

I have googled the problem, but I found no sollutions for the "error 5"-error. The closest I came was a thread that summed up said that my memory might be the problem. I then ran a memory test, to clear out that possibility and it didn't encounter any errors.

    I run Kubuntu 6.06 on a Dell Latitude 110L.

Does anyone know what I kan do to fix the problem? Any help would be much appreciated

Please excuse any spelling errors, as english is not my native language. I do try to spell as corretly as possible, there might be some errors...
