I'm new to the Kubuntu world and would just like to say I'm hooked. Currently I have it installed on an older Dell Latitude C640 and love it.
I have a question regarding running the live CD from a flash drive. I am trying to test Kubuntu on a Toshiba Portege R205, which does not have a CD drive. I have a 2GB Corsair Flash Voyager flash drive I tried copying the contents of the Live CD too and having the laptop boot off the flash drive. However the computer says there is no opperating system on the flash drive. What do I have to do inorder for the Live CD to boot from the flash drive? Possibly extracting the CD to the flash drive differently or copying things from the other laptop already running Kubuntu? Thanks alot for any help and look forward to bringing another computer into the Kubuntu world.
