ok, so i downloaded the iso... burned the iso (very slow like) verified data after burn to make sure disk matched the iso.
booted, everythings goin fine, click on install, set up the partitions, answer all the fun questions about where i live, who i am, who my computer is, all that jazz.
starts installing... still goin ok... copies files, check, does a few other things that go to fast to read, check... gets to Scanning Mirror, no check... stalls there at 1%.
So i load up konqueror, go to google, then here, and i know my network is working fine.
any suggestions... tried a few burns, a few installs... always stops at this part... am i just being impatient, is it really doing its thing, just not telling me, i've installed before and dont remember this happening... is there a way to tell it to NO scan the mirrors... any help would be great
