    Re: Problem with installations

    Hi,

I know nothing about kernel errors, but when I tried to install Kubuntu in my box I had a kernel panic. Honestly I don't remember if it was the same or not, but I remember what solved my problem.

The solution was to run a Memtest (it's an option in the Kubuntu install menu). It happened that I had one bad module of Ram. I removed it, and I could do the installation problem just fine.

      Re: Problem with installations

I tested the memory and it passed all test. I know the CD is good because it works on my desktop ok. Does anybody have any other suggestions.

      Thanks
