    Problems storing system settings

    Hi!

I just installed Kubuntu 6.06.1 Desktop on my PC today. Mostly everything worked fine. One thing though is that I can't seem to get my system settings stored (the settings I change manually). My screen resolution defaulted to 800x600 after installation, but as I'm using an 19 inch wide tft screen that normally defaults to 1440x900@60Hz it's not exactly as I want it. I try to set the correct graphics adapter and the correct screen type, but when doing this (and entering administrative mode) I can't save those settings (the Apply button doesn't work). It seems as if I do not get into the administrative mode even though the system says that I am.

    Thanx!

did you install and run automatix to get the nvdriver? I have AMD athlon 64 with msi mobo and nvidia ge force graphics card and all is well.
I tried Enlightenment once, it was pretty cool.

I also have the same problem, many other settings aren't saved such as time to shut down the monitor, etc
      Have you fixed your problem?
