Problem when use desktop installation CD

when I chose to use manually modify partition table, the installation told me something crush. I chose retry and got the same result. So I can only use auto or quit.

I have two hard disk. One is 320GB and another is 60GB. I want to install in the 60GB disk which is the salve one.

would it not be better to make the 60g the master, especially if that is the one you will boot from??
