    How not to install grub

Hi, I have a pc with already 3 o.s. on it and i want to install Kubuntu without Grub or any other bootloader. But the graphical install seem to give me no choice except where i want grub. How to go around that and not have a bootloader installed. I intend to mount it later and modify my existing lilo. THXS

If you don't get the alternate cd, just install grub to a floppy, that way it does not disrupt the mbr and you can eccess kubuntu. (I know, floppy is not reliable but for test of OS ok. You can always recreate a floppy boot.)

Greetings. I understand that the alternate cd (or dvd if I can find it) allows me to install the boot loader for Kubuntu somewhere other than the MBR.

I want to install the loader to the first sector of the Kubuntu partition and access it with chainloader + 1 from my existing grub menu.

Can do or it doesn't work that way?
