    Install on VMware Server?

    I have been trying to install the Kubuntu server edition, that goes without a problem... then when i do: sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop it downloads and installs.... then the graphics won't work properly.... i have this problem with almost any linux i try... anyone have any ideas? thanx

    I'm not great with kubuntu, but have you tried making of your xorg.conf file (that is if your graphics work prior to the update)

    Just curious, as mentioned i'm not very good with kubuntu, Why do you not install the desktop straight on? I believe you can install everything needed after the fresh desktop install to function as a server.
