a newbye from ubuntu to kubuntu

I and a lot of friends of mine have installed kubuntu for the first time..

My friend installed a Kubuntu native version and I installed ubuntu and after I changed in kubuntu.
In Adept i can't find some packages they have.

It's possibile I've some problems with repository??

Post the contents of your /etc/apt/sources.list here and I'll take a look at it. It's more than likely that you don't have all the repositories enabled.

dude just goto add/remove programs and install:

Synaptic
Software properties

And act like its ubuntu  and use software properties and enable ur repos easily
