help me cant open

hi i downloaded desktop cd of kubuntu 6.06.1...
but i cant open kubuntu it errors like this...

all the commands are OK...
but when kubuntu goes to login screen ,the screen goes black and then it shows this screen...

i tried 2 pc more in same cd it opens very well and i use kubuntu on to them.but in my computer i cant open and install please help me....

Question:

Are you running from the live CD and then you get this error or this error is after the installation?

It looks like you have a problem with the video interface (card). What does the file /var/log/Xorg.0.log says?

On what hardware are you running? What's the configuration?

g-force mx 400 128 mb graphic card
80 gb samsung IDE hdd
creative dvd rom
lg cd writer
creative live 7.1 sound card
ethernet card
256*2 ddr ram

please try re-burning the install CD but at no more then 8x burn speed and see how the install goes ...

i think the cd is works well because as i said before i try the cd 2 more computers,and kubuntu opens on them and i can use kubuntu on these pc s.

but if i m wrong i will try to burn it 2x

everything is fine all the comand say OK but when finish the process...

this is the freeze time

and then i hit alt+F4 and command propt i want to view xorg.log and it says :

Try:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

and, worst case scenario, download the Alternate installer CD.

One question: The other two PCs have the same configuration that this one have??

I feel that the problem is with the xserver, I sugested that you try the Alternate installer, but first try what Nirvana is sugesting you

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

I download the alternate cd and my kubuntu works fine...thank you all...
