    email authorization dialog

    this window keeps on appearing with the message:

    you need to supply a username and a password to access this mailbox.

    It then shows my name and my email address and I have to type in the password that my ISP set up for me.

    It seems to be required for each email that I receive.
    I have looked into the "help" and the "configure kmail" areas but can not find anything referring to this "authorization dialog".

    I phoned the ISP but he said the problem was at my end!

    In Kmail, click "Settings">"configure Kmail">Accounts>Receiving>{your-isp}>Modify>Password{enter it}>"Store POP password"{click it}.

      Your instructions seem to have fixed my problem.
      If only the "help" section of Kmail  had been as informative!
