Chaning the login screen...

so after several hours poking around in system settings, i thought i had discovered how to change the login screen, but after i rebooted, it was still the same.

Is there a secret menu that holds the key to changing the login screen, and perhaps an easy way to install new ones?

Try installing the kdm packages from Adept.
